Katy Krokower provides service to you grounded in experience and education gained over a decade in the fields of horticulture and arboriculture. Her exposure to a wide range of plants and trees comes from the opportunities to work at world class Arboretums in Santa Cruz, CA, Seattle, WA and Melbourne, Australia. Katy honed her gardening skills as a Gardener for the City of Seattle while completing a degree in Horticulture. She also holds a degree in Arboriculture and is a Certified Arborist through the International Society of Arboriculture. She became certified as a Tree Risk Assessor in 2007 and a graduate of the prestigious ASCA Academy in 2008. The City of Shoreline has recently included her in their short list of qualified arborists.
Her biggest pleasure of being in the field is never knowing what solutions she will be asked to come up with day to day - whether it be appreciating a mature tree to inspecting the tiniest species, she’ll bring enthusiasm and an in depth analysis of your tree and landscape needs.
Katy is a current member of the International Society of Arboriculture PNW Chapter and the American Society of Consulting Arborists. She mainly works on Bainbridge Island, in Seattle and in King and Kitsap counties as a consulting arborist but is happy to travel to your area too.
